The West Nile region, in the north west corner of Uganda, is very badly affected by malaria.

All sleeping spaces in 57 villages in Moyo and Yumbe districts will be protected by these 40,000 nets. Approximatley 80,000 people in total will be protected.

Extensive malaria education accompanied the distribution of the nets and house-to-house post-distribution hang-up visits should ensure correct usage.
