Two minutes silence was marked across Israel on Thursday to remember the victims of the Holocaust. Sirens echoed across the country to mark the national memorial day.

In Tel Aviv, trains, cars and pedestrians stopped where they were, to pay their respects to the six million Jews who died during World War II.
