Rare footage of the heart of a dead beached humpback whale being dissected.

The video, filmed on a beach in Oregon, USA, on February 2, shows the large heart being cut open and analysed by experts. The whale washed ashore at the end of January.

According to the filmer, after the autopsy determined that the whale was a juvenile female, approximately one-year-old and 24ft long.
