Bizarre footage has emerged from China of a car driving on a motorway with its bonnet open, potentially blocking the driver's view.

The video, filmed Nanning, Guangxi Province on Thursday, shows the vehicle moving along the road as if nothing is wrong, while another driver shouts "Your car bonnet is open".

According to local reports, he opened his bonnet to cool his engine down but decided to drive with it still open.
