Denmark may be small but it produces more of its electricity from wind than any other country. According to Mother Nature Network, the country gets 47 percent of its electricity from wind resources. The country had significant support from the government and technology-focused universities. They were able to cut fossil-fuel emissions by 20 percent, showing decarbonization of the economy can occur.
