The eclipse to be held on July 5 will be a lunar eclipse. In the scriptures, the eclipse lunar eclipse is not considered an eclipse. Therefore, there will be no restriction on doing any work on this day. The eclipse that takes place on July 5 is a shadow lunar eclipse. Before the lunar eclipse begins, the Moon enters the Earth's shadow. When the moon comes out without entering the actual shadow of the Earth, it is called a shadow eclipse. When the Moon enters the actual shadow of the Earth, then it is considered a complete lunar eclipse. The shadow eclipse is not considered an actual lunar eclipse. Even astrology has not been given the status of eclipse.

5 जुलाई को लगने वाला ग्रहण उपछाया चंद्र ग्रहण होगा. शास्त्रों में उपछाया चंद्र ग्रहण को ग्रहण नहीं माना जाता है. इसलिए इस दिन कोई भी कार्य करने पर प्रतिबंध नहीं होगा. 5 जुलाई को लगने वाला ग्रहण उपछाया चंद्र ग्रहण है. चंद्र ग्रहण के शुरू होने से पहले चंद्रमा धरती की उपछाया में प्रवेश करता है. जब चंद्रमा पृथ्वी की वास्तविक छाया में प्रवेश किए बिना ही बाहर निकल आता है तो उसे उपछाया ग्रहण कहते हैं. चंद्रमा जब धरती की वास्तविक छाया में प्रवेश करता है, तभी उसे पूर्ण रूप से चंद्रग्रहण माना जाता है. उपछाया ग्रहण को वास्तविक चंद्र ग्रहण नहीं माना जाता है. ज्योतिष में भी उपछाया को ग्रहण का दर्जा नहीं दिया गया है.
