With the ICC postponing this year's T20 World Cup owing to the Covid 19 situation on Monday (July 20), a window has been opened up for the IPL 2020 to be conducted. But they will have to clear several hurdles before organising the much-anticipated event. In this context, the BCCI is seriously mulling to take the IPL 2020 out of the country and UAE has emerged as the front-runner to host the tournament. But for that the governing body will have to obtain necessary permissions from the India Government, Ministry of External Affairs.

आईपीएल 2020 को लेकर एक नया अपडेट निकलकर सामने आया है. खबर आ रही है कि आईपीएल शुरू की संभावित तारीख 19 सितंबर होने जा रही है. यानी 19 सितंबर से क्रिकेट फैंस आईपीएल सीजन 13 का मजा ले पाएंगे. इससे पहले खबर आई थी कि 26 सितंबर से लेकर 9 नवम्बर तक आईपीएल खेला जाएगा. अब एक हफ्ता पहले ही आईपीएल शुरू हो सकता है. टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया में छपी रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग 2020 के मैच शाम 7.30 बजे से शुरू किये जा सकते हैं. भारत में ये मैच 8 बजे से शुरू होते थे और 7.30 बजे टॉस होता था. लेकिन इस बार आईपीएल यूएई में हो सकता है जिस वजह से मैच के समय में बदलाव हो रहा है.
