On the festival of Rakshabandhan, the sisters tie a rakhi on the brother's wrist and brother took a pledge to protect the sister and they also give them good gifts. But the beliefs say that some things should not be given as gifts to the sisters. These items are not considered good for siblings.

रक्षाबंधन के त्‍योहार पर बहनें भाई की कलाई पर राखी बांधती हैं और भाई बहनों की रक्षा करने का प्रण लेने के साथ ही उन्‍हें अच्‍छे-अच्‍छे उपहार भी देते हैं। मगर मान्‍यताएं कहती हैं कि कुछ चीजों को बहनों को उपहार के रूप में नहीं देनी चाहिए। इन वस्‍तुओं को भाई-बहन के रिश्‍ते के लिए अच्‍छा नहीं माना जाता है।
