West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee was defeated by Leader of Opposition and BJP's strong face Shuvendu Adhikari in Nandigram. But the TMC had said Mamata Banerjee was rigged and the party had decided to challenge Shuvendu's victory in the Kolkata High Court.The Nandigram case was to be heard on the application of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, but a one-member bench of the Calcutta High Court deferred the hearing of the matter till June 24. After the hearing was postponed, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) opened a front against the judge itself.

West Bengal की CM Mamta Banerjee को नेता प्रतिपक्ष और बीजेपी के कद्दावर चेहरे Suvendu Adhikari से Nandigram में शिकस्त मिली थी। लेकिन TMC ने कहा था Mamta Banerjee को धांधली कर चुनाव हराया गया और पार्टी ने शुवेंदु की जीत को कोलकाता हाईकोर्ट में चुनौती देने का फैसला किया था।शुक्रवार को पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी की अर्जी पर नंदीग्राम मामले पर सुनवाई होनी थी लेकिन Calcutta High Court की एक सदस्यीय बेंच ने 24 जून तक मामले की सुनवाई टाल दी. सुनवाई टलने के बाद TMC ने जज के खिलाफ ही मोर्चा खोल दिया.
