Ravi Kumar Dahiya was bitten by his semi-final opponent Nurislam Sanayev while he was trying to pin him down in the last few seconds of the bout.In the last few seconds of the semi-final, Ravi was trying to pin down Sanayev upon getting a good grip on his leg and that was the only way he could have won that match. Ravi did complete his move and get the victory but not without enduring pain on the way.



भारतीय पहलवान रवि दहिया टोक्यो ओलिंपिक के फाइनल में पहुंचने वाले दूसरे पहलवान बन गए, इस मुकाबले के दौरान विरोधी पहलवान नूरइस्लाम सानायेव ने रवि दहिया को काट लिया. उसने भारतीय पहलवान की बाजू पर दांत चुभो दिए, जब रवि ने नूरइस्लाम के कंधे मैट पर टिकाए तब उसने भारतीय पहलवान को काटा, उसने काफी अंदर तक दांत गड़ा दिए, लेकिन भारतीय पहलवान ने भी दर्द को पीते हुए नूरइस्लाम को छोड़ा नहीं, उन्होंने विरोधी का कंधा पूरी तरह से टिकाया और जीत हासिल की, इसी दांव के दम पर रवि दहिया ने हारी बाजी पलट दी थी।
