The effect of rain and floods is also visible in Uttar Pradesh. 357 villages in 21 districts of the state are affected by the floods. In which Hamirpur, Jalaun and Bundelkhand are the most affected. Water was flowing above the danger mark in Bandayu, Ghazipur and Ballia, while in Varanasi the water level was nearing the danger mark. Flood-like situation has arisen in low-lying areas due to rise in the water level of Ganga in Varanasi.

उत्तर प्रदेश में भी बारिश और बाढ़ का असर दिखने लगा है. राज्य के 21 जिलों के 357 गांव बाढ़ से प्रभावित हैं. जिनमें हमीरपुर, जालौन और बुंदेलखंड सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित हैं. बंदायू, गाजीपुर और बलिया में खतरे के निशान से ऊपर पानी बह रहा है जबकि वाराणसी में जलस्तर खतरे के निशान के करीब है. वाराणसी में गंगा का जलस्तर बढ़ने से निचले इलाकों में बाढ़ जैसी स्थिति पैदा हो गई है
