Often people think that Tuberculosis (TB) is only a lung disease, but it is not so. TB can be in your brain as well as in the uterus-of women. Yes, TB i.e. tuberculosis can also affect the-uterus or uterus-of women (know Uterus-tuberculosis). Millions of new cases of TB are diagnosed each year in India, and more than two lakh people die from the disease. TB disease is caused by a bacterium called Myco bacterium tuberculosis. Women can become a victim of infertility due to having TB in the-uterus. Due to TB in the-uterus, the ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus-cervix-and lymph nodes present around the-vagina start getting affected. It is mainly caused by infection. When there is an infection in the lungs, then it becomes easy to detect this disease. When delayed, bacteria can attack the-uterus, causing damage to the fallopian tubes, due to which the problem of infertility comes to the fore.
