It is believed that yellow color is also the favorite color of Maa Saraswati. Apart from this, yellow colored rice, yellow laddus and saffron pudding are offered to Goddess Saraswati on the day of worship of Vasant Panchami. It is believed that that is why people worship Maa Saraswati wearing yellow clothes.
