अधिक मास 18 जुलाई से 16 अगस्त तक है. 17 अगस्त से सावन का शुक्ल पक्ष शुरू होगा. इस माह में भगवान शंकर और भगवान विष्णु की पूजा अर्चना करने से लाभ मिलेगा. अधिक मास में शालीग्राम भगवान की उपासना से भी विशेष लाभ मिलता है. इसलिए हर दिन शालीग्राम भगवान के समक्ष घी का दीपक प्रज्वलित करें. मान्यता है कि ऐसा करने से साधक को अखंड सौभाग्य की प्राप्ति होती है.अधिक मास में श्रीमद्भागवत गीता के 14वें अध्याय का नियमित रूप से पाठ करें. माना जाता है कि ऐसा करने से कार्यक्षेत्र में उत्पन्न हो रही परेशानियां दूर हो जाती है.
