ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలో పరిపాలనా సౌలభ్యం కోసం ప్రభుత్వం జిల్లాల పునర్వ్యవస్థీకరణను ఖరారు చేసింది. డిసెంబర్ 31, 2025 (నేటి) నుండి రాష్ట్రంలో మొత్తం జిల్లాల సంఖ్య 28కి చేరుకుంది.

ప్రభుత్వం విడుదల చేసిన తుది నోటిఫికేషన్ ప్రకారం రెండు కొత్త జిల్లాలు ఏర్పాటయ్యాయి:

మార్కాపురం జిల్లా: (హెడ్‌క్వార్టర్: మార్కాపురం) - ప్రకాశం జిల్లా నుండి విడిపోయింది.

పోలవరం జిల్లా: (హెడ్‌క్వార్టర్: రంపచోడవరం) - అల్లూరి సీతారామరాజు జిల్లా నుండి విడిపోయింది.

అంతేకాకుండా, అన్నమయ్య జిల్లా కేంద్రం రాయచోటి నుండి మదనపల్లెకు మార్చబడింది. కొత్తగా 5 రెవెన్యూ డివిజన్లు కూడా ఏర్పాటు అయ్యాయి.
A significant administrative milestone for Andhra Pradesh! Starting today, December 31, 2025, the number of districts in the state has increased from 26 to 28.

Following the final notification issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, two new districts have been carved out to ensure better governance and accessibility for the citizens.
