Familjaret kane dëgjuar thirrjet e Hoxhës për ndihme dhe e kane dërguar me urgjence ne spital. Kandidati i FRD-së ndodhet ne reanimacion pasi ka marre plage ne fytyre, koke dhe trup. Ai nuk ka mundur te flasë por familjaret e tij thonë se shkaku i dhunimit është për motive politike, pasi vazhdimisht Hoxha ka marre kërcënime për t'u tërhequr nga kandidimi. Ende nuk dihen autoret e dhunimit te kandidatit te FRD-së, ndërkohë qe policia deklaron se po punohet për zbardhjen e ngjarjes.
