Hariyali Teej Suhagin is a very important festival for women. On this day Suhagin worships Goddess Parvati and Mahadev and wishes her husband a long life. While there are some legal remedies regarding this fast, there are some similar things which should not be done on this day. Otherwise, one has to be born as a dragon-snake or other wildlife.

हर‍ियाली तीज सुहागिन महिलाओं के ल‍िए अत्‍यंत महत्‍वपूर्ण त्‍यौहार होता है। इस द‍िन सुहागिनें देवी पार्वती और महादेव की पूजा करती हैं और अपने पति की लंबी उम्र की कामना करती हैं। इस व्रत को लेकर कुछ जहां कुछ व‍िध‍ि-व‍िधान हैं वहीं कुछ ऐसे ही कार्य हैं जो इस द‍िन सुहाग‍िनों को नहीं करने चाहिए। अन्‍यथा अगले जन्‍म में अजगर-सांप या फिर अन्‍य वन्‍यजीवों के रूप में जन्‍म लेना पड़ता है।
