Reacting on the horrific incident, Team India and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli also called for justice and shared a heartfelt post from his official Twitter handle. Kohli captioned the post, "What happened in #Hathras is inhumane and goes beyond cruelty. Hope the culprits of this heinous crime will be brought to justice. #JusticeForManishaValmiki".

14 सितंबर के इस कांड के बाद पुलिस को सामूहिक दुष्कर्म का मामला दर्ज करने में आठ दिन लगे थे. अब इस घटना पर टीम इंडिया के कप्तान विराट कोहली ने चुप्पी तोड़ी है. कोहली का गुस्सा फूट पड़ा है. और ट्विटर का सहारा लेते हुए कोहली ने इन्साफ की आवाज लगाई है. कोहली ने ट्वीट करते हुए लिखा, " 'हाथरस में जो हुआ, वह अमानवीय है और क्रूरता से परे है. उम्मीद करता हूं कि इस जघन्य अपराध के दोषियों को सजा मिलेगी.' आपको बता दें, गत 21 सितंबर को किशोरी के होश में आने के बाद किए गए डॉक्टरी परीक्षण के दौरान मेडिकल रिपोर्ट में गैंगरेप की पुष्टि हुई.
