A doctor in a government hospital in Madhya Pradesh resigned on Saturday after some Congress leaders, including former minister PC Sharma, allegedly yelled at him following the death of a Covid patient. While MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan appealed to people to boost the morale of doctors instead of demoralising them, Mr Sharma claimed he did not speak rudely to the doctor and was only involved since the patient was a member of his Assembly constituency.

मध्य प्रदेश में कोरोना संक्रमण जहां कहर बनकर टूटा है, इस बीच ही प्रदेश के जयप्रकाश अस्पताल में मरीज की मौत के बाद हंगामा होने पर डॉ. योगेंद्र श्रीवास्तव ने अपने साथ हुए दुर्व्यवहार का आरोप लगाते हुए इस्तीफा सौंप दिया है, परिवार वालों ने डॉक्टरों पर लापरवाही का आरोप लगाया है। और मरीज की मौत के बाद अस्पताल में जमकर हंगामा किया। मौत की सूचना मिलते ही पूर्व मंत्री पीसी शर्मा और पूर्व पार्षद गुड्डू चौहान कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ अस्पताल पहुंच गए. यहां नेताओं ने ड्यूटी पर मौजूद डॉक्टरों को जमकर फटकार लगाई.
