Now, a hospital in Ghaziabad, just a few kilometres from the national capital Delhi, has reported the first case of herpes-simplex virus infection, and has even termed the new disease “very dangerous". According to doctors, Covid recovered patients who have weakened immunity or suffering from an existing ailment are the most susceptible to herpes-simplex virus. The treatment of this disease is very costly, and the emergence of this virus has alerted the scientific community as it is considered deadly. Dr BP Tyagi from Ghaziabad said the first-ever case of herpes-simplex virus in India was found in the nose of a patient. Dr Tyagi termed the virus “very dangerous", and said if there is a delay in treatment then this virus can be deadlier than Covid-19.

कोरोना महामारी (Coronavirus) की दूसरी लहर ने देश को कई झटके दिए. इसी लहर में कोरोना वायरस का डेल्टा वेरिएंट सामने आया. जिसने पूरे देश में कहर मचाकर रख दिया. अब दिल्ली से सटे गाजियाबाद (Coronavirus) में कोरोना से ठीक हो चुके एक मरीज में (Herpes Simplex Virus) के संक्रमण का पहला मामला सामने आया है. मरीज का इलाज कर रहे डॉक्टरों का दावा है कि इस वायरस के संक्रमण का यह पहला केस है. डॉक्टरों का कहना है कि यह वायरस सबसे घातक है और जल्द ही इस पर कंट्रोल नहीं किया गया तो फिर से तबाही मच सकती है.
