Enti rregullatorë i energjisë pritet te gjobisë ditën e premte kompanie private CEZ Shpërndarje me 1 % te xhiros vjetore. Kjo mase ndëshkuese vjen për shkak se prej 13 ditësh kompania private nuk po importon energjinë e duhur për popullatën. Ne një letër zyrtare, CEZ i bën me dije Entit Rregullator se për shkak te kushteve te vështira financiare, nuk i përmbush detyrimet e importit. Ndërsa prodhimi nga HEC-et ka rene për shkak edhe rënies se nivelit te ujërave. Kjo situate flet qarte se vendi rrezikohet nga kriza energjetike ne muajt e ardhshëm. Mbërritja ne një pike te tille pritej për shkak te spirales se borxheve qe ka prekur sektorin energjetik shqiptar e cila duket një problem pa zgjidhje. Prej kohesh kesh CEZ dhe OST janë ne negociata për shlyerjen e detyrimeve te prapambetura. Edhe pse para vizitës se kryeministrit çek ne Shqipëri, qeveria mori vendim për te shlyer borxhet qe institucionet buxhetore i kane kompanisë CEZ Shpërndarje ende ky vendim s'ka nisur te konkretizohet. Sipas Entit Rregullator, kompania CEZ Shperndaje pretendon se institucionet shqiptare i kane një borxh prej 35 milion euro, e për pasoje nuk ka shlyer detyrimet ndaj Korporatës Elektroenrgjetike dhe Operatorit te Sistemit te Shpërndarjes. Për pasoje borxhi ndaj këtyre kompanive ka arritur ne rreth 70 milion euro. Ne kushtet kur sistemi energjetik ndodhet ne prag ten je kolapsi kompleks, importi duket e vetmja rruge për te kryer furnizimin normal te popullatës. Por dilema me e madhe është se ku do te gjenden leket për import, pasi financat publike jene ne krize.
